What is LSD?
LSD is a hallucinogenic drug which means that a person who takes it is likely to experience sensations, sights and sounds that are distorted or non existent. LSD is commonly called 'acid'.  It comes in the form of a liquid (dropped on food or sugar lumps) or small pieces of newspaper called 'tabs' that have pictures on them ( which are swallowed). Strength varies merely a depression dose (one-half a regular tab) volition usually result in a mild LSD experience and full tab in a full blown trip.

What are the effects of LSD?

And this is acid?

That was acrid, yep.  I took psychedelics the next weekend and the weekend after that, too – a month of psychedelic use!  This fourth dimension we took 2C-Eastward, which is a research chemic.  Information technology'southward longer-interim than acid and quite different in result.  Acrid gave quite swirly, organic visuals but 2C-E was highly geometric.

The outcome it had was quite dissimilar, as well.  Acid made me feel a bit confused sometimes, and it could be hard to get the right words out, but 2C-East changed the way I was thinking completely!  It felt like I was thinking in metaphors, and conversations had a very real feeling of flow – a physical feeling, flowing like water.

The first week nosotros tried 2C-Due east it was really, actually, nice  The week after, information technology didn't piece of work out quite and then well and one of the people I took information technology with had a big freakout like with acid the starting time tie.  So we didn't utilize anything for a while.

What are the negative effects of LSD?
If a trip turns bad, the user is stuck with the trip until the effects vesture off. As mentioned, this can accept up to 12 hours. Both Sam and Charlie had experienced bad trips on LSD. Charlie did acid on the same day she broke upwardly with her ex and was emotionally fragile. She concluded upward having paranoid delusions and crying for several hours later.

Acids does a lot of that yeah. The affair is acid's emotional it doesn't just bear upon your, all your own visual senses. Information technology affects your emotional senses y'all know. Skunk's hallucinogenic, THC is hallucinogenic then you lot get, you know that's why yous see brilliant colours and music sounds brilliant because you lot're hallucinating. Acrid is something else. It not only, it actually plays with your emotions like y'all know and if you're having a proficient one, you're having a good one. If you're having a bad i y'all accept a really bad one. I'll come up onto that incident later like it, if we've got and it scared the life out of me.

Which one was that?

I was at a party, in fact I helped to organise a, quite a large free political party and everything was cool, I was loving it. Taking loads of laughing gas, loads of it, I was selling loads of laughing gas. I was doing loads. I was just doing everything. Then I took some acrid. I took too much acid. I asked this guy to stick drops of acid in my eye considering I thought it was funny. You know they were selling drops, just putting drops on people'south hands and they were sucking them. I said, 'No, no, no I know if you can stick vodka in your middle and it gets you pissed, if yous stick acid in your eye it'southward going to get pissed a lot quicker isn't information technology?' And then he put drops in them. He actually put near four in them and that's a lot of acid. And I was alright for a while and then I started to think people were talking about me and that everyone hated me like. I'd stole somebody's cider before on and information technology was actually their similar land we were using and so I was but like. 'They're going to go me now. They're really upset with me. They're going to go me. They're going to go me.' And then I decided to walk off. And the weird thing was I heard a story before I left that another guy had left and he was tripping and the police force had found him naked in a field. And he'd been arrested and gone to the police station. So that was in the back of my heed, the law are going to go me. They're, whatever I do don't go naked in the field otherwise I'1000 going to get arrested. So I'grand trying to observe, and these are forth long lanes in the center of like countryside. I'thousand trying to get back and I'm going the wrong mode and I'chiliad going the long way and I don't know where I'chiliad going. I've got to get back and this machine is behind me. And I'thou up against the hedge equally far every bit I can, similar proper as far as I tin so the auto can get past there's no problem. This car is behind me and it slowly following me. I didn't know if the car was in that location but I, it felt similar it. And so collection off then the car was behind me once again. And I've got no idea how long it took me to walk the iv miles to get home but every step of that mode there was somebody there trying to go me or be behind me. I simply couldn't have it and I couldn't go home because everybody at abode was going to know there is something incorrect with me and I don't, I desire to go asleep. I don't feel similar I can sleep. I just, [sigh] I've got. I simply need help.

And so I went to the place that gives me help. I went to the pub. I went to the pub and I'm in the pub crying at the landlady telling her that I need help. And she's screaming at me telling me I'1000 a fucking idiot and I need to go domicile and go to sleep. And I'1000 saying, 'No you have to give me beer considering beer will help'. She goes, 'No you tin't have any fucking beer'. And like she was basically screaming at me and trying to get to get me out of her pub, not in a horrible fashion but she, she knows that I weren't right. She didn't know what I was doing. She knows I weren't right. She knew I needed assist. And I recollect before that I'd probably been in that location a couple of times and she'd seen me in item ways and information technology was so scary. I said, 'I'm never going to do acrid again.

And the week afterward I dropped acid for the first time which was a very unwise thing to accept done. It was going very well. We went for a walk in a park this was in the evening.
We were very euphoric and happy and chatting. Nosotros went on a walk through the park and one of the friends that I was with got paranoid because she saw a car in the car park and she was sort of getting scared that the police were going to come and get her which is fairly common kind of delusion, I guess.  And that paranoia sort of built upward between the three of us and we all headed dorsum to my firm. But she carried on being anxious and I picked up on that really strongly and started having a bad trip too.

At one signal I was in my room looking for something and the others were in the living room.  I heard them talking really loudly about me, in really negative means, and that didn't seem right, it seemed unlikely – but information technology made me feel terrible.  So I went to the living room and hovered outside the door to hear what they were proverb and they stopped.  And then I went back to my room and they started again, but very loud.  And I realised that to hear them that loudly in my room they would have to be shouting.  That was horrific.  I went to speak to them and they told me that they hadn't been talking about me.  And and so I realised I was just hearing voices, having paranoid delusions.

How did you feel afterwards?

Well, I cried for a few hours after that trip.  It was so scary, I was terrified.  Just I retrieve those tears, well, I'd merely broken up with my ex that day so I retrieve that was coming out too.  It was a stupid idea to take acid right after a breakup!

The next week I was in a much ameliorate place, so we did it over again. And information technology was an absolutely wonderful experience this time. Nosotros did information technology during the solar day. We went to a park, and we spent the entire day in the park sitting looking at nature and we just had a wonderful, wonderful fourth dimension. We felt happy and euphoric and it was amazing to just sit down and expect at the grass and ponder the world.  And then it was a very different experience and a much, much better 1.

What are magic mushrooms?

Magic mushrooms (aka 'Shrooms) are mushrooms that grow in the wild. There are ii main types and they're quite different. The about mutual grade is a species called psilocybe semilanceata or 'liberty cap', while the other more potent diversity is amanita muscaria or 'wing agaric'. In that location are deadly poisonous species of amanitas, so if you don't know what yous're doing, y'all definitely shouldn't have them. Magic mushrooms are eaten on their own raw or dried, in food or made into a tea.

The effects depend on the number of mushrooms taken. They produce similar hallucinogenic-blazon effects to LSD just for a shorter time.  They tin make people giggle, relax or hallucinate.

Yeah [laugh] That was. Aye that was merely being in Amsterdam and not having much to do and so yeah. Yeah that was kind of a bit of an anomaly actually.

Aye I mean, aye I don't really know where that came from but... I mean it was quite fun that 24-hour interval but I don't really have any desire to practice them once again really.

Just kind of similar yeah I just worry, like suddenly kind of non enlightened of where I am maybe and yes just kind of. I've always been worried about kind of losing stuff like losing my wallet or whatever, phone or whatever.

Will this exist something you will practise again? I mean sort of...

I can't say I'll never do information technology again but I accept certainly no like desire I hateful maybe aye if I was similar, been drinking quite a lot and maybe like if but I mean I have like, I have like no want really. I hateful I can't say I'll never practice it again but I, yeah I hateful if I, probably simply be similar very, like occasionally but I mean I could easily similar never do it again considering I didn't really. I hateful I didn't really get anything out of it and yes.

What are the negative effects of Magic mushrooms?

Taking the incorrect blazon of mushroom is a existent risk; some types of mushroom look like magic mushrooms only are poisonous and can cause serious health problems or death. Magic mushrooms tin themselves cause stomach bug such as nausea, sickness and diarrhoea.  Like with LSD, trips tin can exist bad. Craig described taking a cocktail of drugs, including magic mushrooms, as the scariest combination he has ever taken. Under its effects he thought that everyone looked like characters from 'The Simpsons'.
